- Pat the beef tips dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
Searing the Meat
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown beef tips in batches for about 3-4 minutes per side.
Making Beef Gravy
- Remove beef from the pan. Add butter and onions, cooking until translucent.
- Sprinkle flour over onions and cook for 2 minutes.
- Gradually add beef broth while stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
Final Cooking
- Return beef to the pan, add Worcestershire sauce and garlic. Simmer covered for 1 hour or until meat is tender, stirring occasionally.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For freezing, cool completely and store in freezer-safe containers for up to 3 months.
